I studied Theatre and Education at the Hogeschool voor de Kunsten in Utrecht, then continued my studies in Performing Art at the Metropolitan University in London. After this I attended a nine month video production course at the College of North East London, became a Shiatsu Practitioner and passed my foundation year in Dance Therapy. In 2014 I graduated from the Master Program Solo/Dance/Authorship at Inter University Centre for Dance Berlin. Beside this, I have a long standing engagement with contact improvisation, yoga and argentine tango.
I am interested in experiences. Works which dramaturgy unfolds mostly inside of each person participating. Often seeing and touch play an important role. Since reading an article on the artist Franz Erhard Walther, I am intrigued by the possible relationships of an observer to a work: You are standing in front, you are standing beside, you are standing inside. So where are you in relation to things and how does the distance you have, determines how and what you see? I favor latent narratives, limits, water, light and cinema.
